Sedans for up to 3 passengers:

No cancellation fees unless non-show or last moment. The “NO CANCELLATION FEES” condition valid if a tour is cancelled within 36 hours prior to departure time.

Minivans up to 7 passengers:

Cancellations up to 7 days before arrival: Full refund less Euro 50,00
Cancellations 06 to 04 days before arrival date: 50% cancellation fees
Cancellations 3 days or less before arrival date: Charge of full stay (100%).

Private buses (coaches) 08 – 60 seats:

Cancellations up to 12 days before arrival: Full refund less Euro 50,00.
Cancellations 11 to 8 days before arrival date: 50% cancellation fees.
Cancellations 7 days or less before arrival date: Charge of full stay (100%).

Note

If the trip cannot be taken due to the fact that the cruise ship or aircraft does not make port, or if conditions prevent the tour operator from operating the trip, the full amount will not be refunded!

If you are unable to attend your appointment due to circumstances beyond your control, such as airline or cruise ship operational issues, strikes, extreme weather conditions, or mechanical failures, you will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.

1. If you cancel your reservation 14 or more days prior to the scheduled arrival date of the private tour, your entire payment will be refunded.
2. If you cancel in 13 – 6 days prior to the scheduled arrival date of the private tour, the 50% of your down payment will be refunded.
3. Not-refundable for no show and for cancellation made at any time less than 07 days.
4. Custom designed bookings will always have a €25.00 per person not-refundable penalty for cancellation made at any time after the booking has been confirmed and the credit card charge.

Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing and are in effect 24 hours after the date we receive them.

We reserve the right to cancel any of the services, without any penalties beyond offering a full refund. Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing and are in effect 24 hours after the date we receive them.

Cancellations up to 60 days prior to departure: Full refund less Euro 100 p.p.
Cancellations 60 to 21 days prior to departure: 50% charge of total cost
Cancellations 20 days or less prior to departure: No Refund
General: Cruise lines, Ferry companies, Airlines, Licensed tour guides and Hotels are third-party collaborators and are subject to their own cancellation policies.

A per person fee representing 30% of the value of the tour (but no less than ~ €100.00E per person) will be charged if written cancellation is received 60 days or less prior to departure.

For all packages, air tours and cruises, in addition to the above mentioned fees passengers are liable for all cancellation fees charged by the specific hotel / airline / cruise line used.

In all cases hotels, air-tickets, ferry tickets, tours canceled 60 days prior to departure will incur full cancellation fees. Also for a non show full cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellations 60 to 50 days prior to arrival: 30% charge of total package price
Cancellations 49 to 45 days prior to arrival: 50% charge of total package price
Cancellations 44 tdays prior to day of arrival & no-show: No refund

Cancellations 30 days prior to day of arrival & no-show: No refund

Semi private shore excursion bookings canceled up to 15 days prior to the agreed date and time receive a full refund.
100% cancellation fees apply for any tour bookings canceled within the last 15 days prior to the arrival date.
If for any unforeseen reason the ship does not dock at the port, then there will be a full refund.
All alterations or cancellations should be made via e-mail to Athens Tour Greece.

Tour Guides licensed by the state are external co-operators, and they have their own cancellation policy and pricing.
Cruise lines, ferry companies, airlines, and hotels are third-party collaborators. They operate under their own independent cancellation policies, which may differ from ours.

Vehicle Reservation Cancellation Policy.

Sedans: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be charged a nominal fee of €1 per person.
Minivan: Cancellations made within 36 hours of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations outside of the 36 hour window will be charged €1 per person.
Minibus (10-20 seats): Cancellations made within 96 hours of departure are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations made more than 96 hours in advance are subject to a cancellation fee of €1 per person.
For all vehicles: No show without prior cancellation will result in no refund.

Special Circumstances:.

No refunds will be given for cancellations made within the critical hours prior to the departure date, except in cases where the trip cannot proceed due to the cruise ship or aircraft not arriving at the port, or conditions that prevent the operator from conducting the tour.
In cases where the ship arrives but passengers are not allowed to disembark for any reason determined by the captain or the cruise line, a fee of 40% of the total cost will be charged. If the total cost has been paid in full in advance, 60% will be refunded to the client.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure clarity and fairness to all parties involved and to allow for unforeseen changes while respecting the planning and resources allocated by the service provider.

Private Day Tours Cancellation Policy:

More than 12 Days Before Arrival: Eligible for a full refund, with a deduction of €50.00 as a processing fee.
Between 11 to 7 Days Before Arrival: Subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost.
6 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund available; 100% of the total cost will be charged.

Multiple Day Tours Cancellation Policy:

More than 25 Days Before Arrival: Eligible for a full refund, minus a €50.00 processing fee.
Between 25 to 15 Days Before Arrival: Subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost.
14 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund available; 100% of the total cost will be charged.

Flexible Cancellations: No cancellation fees apply, except in cases of a “No-Show” or last-minute cancellation.
24-Hour Notice: To avoid charges, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
Written Confirmation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The cancellation becomes effective 24 hours after the receipt of your request.

General Cancellation and Refund Policy

Fees and Penalties

Transaction Fees: As per bank policy, a non-refundable processing fee of 3-5% of the total transaction applies to all refunds.
Administrative Charge: Upon booking confirmation and credit card debit, a non-refundable penalty of €25.00 plus VAT applies to any cancellation. This charge does not apply to Taxi & Land Transfers.
No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time will result in a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).

Our Rights and Commitments

Cancellations by Athens Tours Greece: We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time. In such cases, passengers who have paid in full will receive a full refund. Additionally, we are committed to assisting affected passengers in finding suitable alternative arrangements.
Policy Amendments: All cancellations must be officially confirmed by Athens Tours Greece. We reserve the right to adjust, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our cancellation policy without prior notice.

Third-Party Services

Important Note: Cruise lines, ferry companies, airlines, licensed tour guides, and hotels are third-party collaborators. They operate under their own independent cancellation policies, which may differ from ours.
