Day 3: Port/City Rhodes, Greece

Agios Nikolaos is the capital of Lasithi Prefecture and an international resort that attracts thousands of visitors annually. It is located in the natural harbor of Mirabello, a name that derives from the words “Mira Bella”, which characterize the magnificent view of the sea. Agios Nikolaos took its name from the small Byzantine church, which dates from the 7th century. It thrived during the Venetian rule (12th-13th century). The city’s marvel is the Lagoon, which connects with the sea through a small canal, while the surrounding red rocks and lush trees create a unique atmosphere. You can stroll along with the shops and local crafts stores or relax at the numerous cafes and tavernas, sip a “raki” with the locals, and enjoy the view.

Day 5 + 6: Port/City Santorini, Greece

Santorini is one of the most renowned places in the world. People travel thousands of miles in order to admire its unique geography, the result of an earthquake that took place many centuries ago. Take a jeep safari into the interior, cruise to Santorini’s smaller islands and volcanoes, visit the Akrotiri excavations or drink coffee at Oia Village, 300 meters above the sea.

Day 6: Port/City Milos, Greece

Milos is a geological marvel and home to the biggest selection of diverse and beautiful beaches in the Cyclades, some of them formed by ancient volcanoes. Enjoy the unique landscape of Sarakiniko beach, the town of Plaka, the harbor of Adhamas, and take a tour at the mining museum or visit the Church of Panagia Thalassitra

Day 6 + 7: Port/City Mykonos, Greece

Mykonos does not require any kind of introductions. An island famous for its wild nightlife and its beaches, a cosmopolitan paradise with exquisite boutiques and fine dining that attracts celebrities, artists, and socialites from all over the world.

Day 8: Port/City Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Piraeus port is the gateway to the Athens center. Don’t miss the Parthenon, the temple to Athena, which looms over Athens from its perch atop the Acropolis, an eternal icon of art and civilization. Completed in 438 B.C., the temple still astounds as the flowering of Greek art and architecture. When you come down off the hill, don’t miss a visit to the Ancient Agora, Syntagma Square, the Acropolis Museum, and the city’s historic center, around Plaka. Ideally, sit and relax at a cafe on the foot of the hill, sample some Greek souvlaki or a frappe, take a glance back up the hill from time to time, and give the goddess her due.

Day 9: Port/City Thessaloniki, Greece

Thessaloniki is the second major economic, industrial, commercial, and political center in Greece, after Athens. It hosts numerous notable Byzantine monuments and historical sites, churches, museums, and theatres. The center is characterized by arcades, laneways, and distinct architectural styles such as Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Walking through Thessaloniki is truly a journey back in time. The historic center is divided into several districts: Ladadika (with many entertainment venues and tavernas), Kapani (with the city’s central city market), Diagonios, Navarinou, Rotonda, Agia Sofia, and Ippodromio (white tower), which are all located around Thessaloniki’s most central point, Aristotelous Square. Ano Poli is the highest point in Thessaloniki and as such, is the location of the city’s acropolis, its Byzantine fort, the Heptapyrgion, a large portion of the city’s remaining walls, and with many of its additional Ottoman and Byzantine structures still standing. Don’t miss this wonderful area, which offers a great view of the city.

Day 10 Port/City Kavala, Greece

The port of Kavala is enclosed by the city, which is amphitheatrically built and is one of the most beautiful and picturesque Greek cities. Along the coastal road, you can enjoy a coffee or a drink while admiring the view overlooking the Fort of the City and the picturesque peninsula of Panagia
