The walking tour with the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum will start from Fresko Yogurt Bar Acropoli at approx 11:30 AM. The duration time is 3 hours and 30 minutes and the walking time 40 minutes with moderate walking pace!

Continue from there to the Acropolis. Entering on the south slope of the Acropolis, you’ll visit the Dionysus Sanctuary and Dionysus Theater before you walk up the slope leading to the Acropolis monuments. Panoramic views of the city will be perfect for Instagram-ready photos. NOTE: Note: After the first part of the tour ends on the Acropolis at approximately 13:00 (1:00 pm), you may take more photos before meeting for the Acropolis Museum Tour. During this time, you may get a snack or a drink before the guided museum tour starts at approximately 13:45 (1:45 pm). There will be no time for a leisurely lunch break.

The tour ends at the Acropolis Museum at approximately 15:00 (3:00 pm).

Meeting point

Our staff, holding an orange Athens Walking Tours sign, will be waiting for you at “Fresko Yogurt Bar Acropoli” located at 3, Dionyssiou Areopagitou st, which is at the beginning of the pedestrian walkway that takes you from Hadrian’s Arch, Siggrou av (also written as Syngrou), to the Acropolis.

Please be at the meeting point at 11:15 am. This tour is a continuation of the Athens City Tour and the Acropolis tour which starts earlier. Our guide with his/her group will arrive at the meeting point between 11:15 am and 11:30 am the latest. Look out for someone holding an orange colored Athens Walking Tours sign.

Tip: While at Fresko Yogurt Bar Acropoli, it is a good opportunity to try a serving of fresh authentic Greek yogurt, best when topped with honey or a Greek spoon sweet. Be sure to ask for a free sample!

However, we provide you with a skip-the line-service at no extra cost. We buy the tickets in advance so you skip the lines and have immediate access to the sights listed on the tour.
