Activity Level of Our Tours – Wheelchair Accessibility

Mild tours require leisurely walking over primarily even surfaces. Limited number of steps, a minimal amount of cobblestones or uneven surfaces, and some standing for extended periods of time.Mild tours are usually visits to museums and wineries and they are suitable for all our guests, even for families with babies.

These tours may require extended periods of walking over even and uneven surfaces, steep terrain and/or water activity in a slight current. There may be steps, inclines, cobblestone surfaces, and extended periods of standing. Passengers with physical limitations should take this into account.

Most our tours in Athens and other areas in Greece belong to this type of activity level.

A small number of our tours in Greece may prove strenuous for some of our guests. There may be numerous steps, inclines, cobblestones, and other rough terrain. These tours are the most active and have been designed for passengers in excellent health and very good physical condition.

* Most of our private shore excursions & land tours are suitable for families with young children (5-12 years old). However, there are certain tours, for example visits in the caves of Diros or Ioannina, which are not suitable for infants and very young children.

  • For guests planning to use a manual or electric wheelchair during our tours, please note that your wheelchair must be collapsible and fit inside a sedan (such as a Mercedes E-class) or minibus. Our limousines and minibuses do not provide wheelchairs or have electric scooter lifts. The use of a non-collapsible motorized scooter cannot be guaranteed on our tours.
  • Guests using collapsible wheelchairs or scooters will need to transfer from their mobility aid to the vehicle (limousine or minibus), typically requiring a single step. Guests should be self-sufficient, or travel with a companion who can provide any necessary assistance during transfers and throughout the tour.
  • Please be advised that due to uneven surfaces, certain sites may not be recommended for persons with walking disabilities or those using wheelchairs. These sites include the Acropolis, the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, Mycenae, Delphi, and Meteora.

*Please note that the above information is subject to change, and we recommend confirming the latest accessibility guidelines before booking your tour.
