Embarking on a journey from Athens in the early morning, the tour offers a picturesque drive along the stunning coastal road towards Corinth. The scenic route showcases the beauty of the Greek coastline, providing travelers with breathtaking views and a memorable start to their adventure.
The Isthmus of Corinth and Corinth Canal are significant landmarks on our tour. The man-made canal connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf, stretching 6.4 kilometers. Construction of the shortcut canal began in 1881 but faced delays due to geological and financial issues, completing only in 1893. Nonetheless, the concept of a shortcut to avoid sailing around the Peloponnese peninsula is over 2000 years old.
We will have a short stop here for pictures and we will continue towards Ancient Corinth.

- Opening Hours and Entrance Fees for Archaeological Sites and Museums in Greece
- Entrance Fees for Children from Non-EU Countries: Starting November 1st, 2019, children aged 6 and above from non-European Union (non-EU) countries will be required to pay the full entrance fee for Museums and Archaeological sites. For children from EU countries, the existing rates remain in effect. However, it is crucial to have their passports readily available to prove their nationality.
